What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry or quote request we collect the details you enter — name, business name, business email, website, business type, volume estimate and anything you write in the message field. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and to discuss sourcing with you.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived. This is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.

Live chat. Our chat widget is provided by Tidio. If you start a conversation, Tidio processes your messages and any contact details you share in that chat.

Cookies

We store a single preference in your browser recording whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies. If you decline, Google Analytics consent is withheld. Tidio sets its own cookies to maintain chat sessions. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. Enquiry submissions are processed by Formspree, which delivers them to us by email. Analytics data is processed by Google. Chat data is processed by Tidio. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is retained for as long as we have an active or prospective business relationship with you, and thereafter as needed for our records. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@yarnstick.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can decline analytics cookies using the banner shown on your first visit.
