Apparel, sourced direct

About Yarnstick

We're changing how brands source apparel.

For most brands, overseas sourcing is slow, opaque, and crowded with middlemen — with no one accountable when something slips. Yarnstick is the alternative: one dependable partner that manages the mills, the quality, and the import, so brands get better product at better terms, from the factory floor to their door.

We're growing fast, and we're looking for ambitious people to grow with us — with real ownership, real impact, and the chance to build something that lasts.

We're expanding our US outreach and looking for a sharp, personable caller to open the first conversations with US apparel brands and importers and book qualified meetings for our team. This is where Yarnstick's US growth begins — you're the first voice a brand hears, and the meetings you book feed the entire sales engine. It's a phone-led, part-time role for someone who's excellent on the phone, steady in the face of rejection, and motivated by results.

What you'll do

  • Work a targeted list of US apparel brands and importers — phone-led, supported by LinkedIn and email follow-up.
  • Open conversations, introduce Yarnstick clearly, and gauge fit against our ideal customer profile.
  • Handle early objections with confidence and keep the conversation moving toward a next step.
  • Book qualified intro meetings for the sales team, and send reminders so they actually happen.
  • Log every call and outcome accurately in the CRM, keeping records clean and current.
  • Share what you hear on the phones so we keep sharpening the pitch and the target list.

What we're looking for

  • Excellent spoken English and a warm, confident phone presence.
  • A genuinely good listener who can hold a credible business conversation.
  • Resilient with rejection; consistent, reliable, and self-managed.
  • Comfortable handling common objections ("we already have a supplier," "not right now").
  • Organized and disciplined with a CRM and follow-ups.
  • Available during US business hours.

Nice to have

  • Prior B2B outbound, SDR, appointment-setting, or telesales experience.
  • Exposure to apparel, fashion, retail, or sourcing.
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn, and dialers.

We're building our US business and looking for a seasoned apparel-sales leader, based in India, to own and grow it. This is a build-and-lead role with a direct line to leadership and real upside on what you close. You'll own the number that matters most to us right now — US revenue — and build the function that delivers it. It's for someone who knows the apparel trade inside out and has personally sold to US buyers.

What you'll do

  • Drive US revenue end to end — from first conversation through discovery, costing, proposal, negotiation, and close — selling Yarnstick's sourcing to US apparel brands and importers.
  • Build and lead the US sales motion: the playbook, the pipeline, and over time the team, working with a US-based SDR who feeds you meetings.
  • Bring the industry lens: translate buyer requirements into what our manufacturing base can deliver on product, costing, timelines, and compliance.
  • Partner closely with our India supply side to quote accurately and deliver on every commitment.
  • Represent Yarnstick to US buyers as a credible, senior counterpart, and build lasting relationships that grow accounts over time.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years in apparel or garment export, sourcing, or buying-house merchandising, with a strong track record in sales or business development.
  • Essential: proven B2B sales experience within the apparel industry.
  • A demonstrated record of selling to or managing US apparel brands, retailers, or importers — you've carried a US book and grown it.
  • Deep command of garment manufacturing, costing, product development, sourcing, and export and compliance realities.
  • Excellent English and executive presence; comfortable owning senior US relationships across time zones.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-driven — you want to build something, not inherit a machine.

Nice to have

  • Experience in an apparel export house with a proven record of US sales — strongly preferred.
  • An existing network of US brand and importer relationships you can activate.
  • Knitwear and broader apparel category depth.

A hybrid growth role for someone equally comfortable running digital marketing campaigns and closing business. You'll own how Yarnstick shows up online to a US B2B audience — content, social, email, and search — and turn the interest that generates into real conversations and orders. You sit at the intersection of marketing and sales: you create the demand, and you help capture it.

What you'll do

  • Plan, build, and run digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Instagram, email, and search, targeted at US apparel brands, DTC founders, and importers.
  • Own Yarnstick's social presence — create and schedule content that builds credibility with a B2B buyer audience.
  • Drive SEO and content marketing that ranks for sourcing-related searches and pulls in inbound enquiries.
  • Run email marketing and nurture sequences that move prospects toward a conversation.
  • Plan and manage paid campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Meta) within budget.
  • Respond fast to inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads, qualify them, and move them toward orders.
  • Prepare proposals and product information with the sourcing team, keep the CRM current, and work with the Director to close.

What we're looking for

  • 2–5 years in a digital marketing, marketing, or sales-and-marketing role.
  • Essential: proven B2B sales experience within the apparel industry.
  • Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing channels: social media, SEO, email marketing, content, and paid ads.
  • Practical familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, LinkedIn (organic and ads), Meta and Google Ads, an email platform, and a CRM.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with clear communication for an international audience.
  • Analytical and organized, able to run multiple campaigns and prioritize.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience in an apparel export house with a proven record of US sales — strongly preferred.
  • Experience marketing or selling to US or international B2B audiences.
  • Basic design skills (Canva or Adobe) and comfort creating short-form video.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CMS/website tools, and basic HTML.
